The Guardian Children’s Fiction Award was founded in 1937 by the Guardian newspaper and is judged by a panel of authors.  It is awarded to an author from Britain or the Commonwealth.  This is a list of the books which have won the Guardian Award and are currently in print.  When no books are mentioned for a particular year, then the winning books are no longer available.
